HEY HEY KIDS!!!
A few updates and then some memes...
First of all, if you didn't already hear... I am on vacation. I am currently visiting my brother in Kentucky and logging in thru his dial-up connection. Yes... Dial-up! If you don't have cable, and there is not a good reason why you don't have something other than dial-up, then... Well.. Dial-up tests my patience in ways only God can imagine.
Secondly... I am seeking other employment. Why? Because I was let go last Monday. I worked for the place that I set my sights on right out of college. I was let go because of a policy violation (using the internet for non-work things). Nothing inappropriate. Tho, after talking to people I used to work with, bascially my position was done away with and I was surplused. Fun Fun... I would've liked to think I could've got a different job on campus, but oh well.
So I'm tossing around a couple ideas. Getting another job in my career field. Going back for my Masters. Or just finding a pay the bills job till something I really want comes along. I'm not quite sure which will play out, but it's something I'm not closing any doors on just yet. Like my best friend said... The world is open right now for what I choose to do. Keep a good thought out for me!
I'll write more about my trip when I get back. Right now, I just wanted to check in so people didn't think I was dead. :-)

If you discovered a new island, what would you name it and why?
I really gave this some thought... I guess things seem to be names either by the person that found them or by something that happened at the time of when something was found. I'm not vain enough to name the island after me. I'd probably see what was either around or going on at the time and name it from there.
